For the record, on Tuesday, Jonathan smiled his first real smile. It’s been so fun to see it peek out every now and then. He really is a pleasant little guy, and it’s been nice to have that void filled that’s been apparent in my heart the last year.
On Wednesday, I took Jonathan in for his 2 week check-up. His weight was back up to 9 lbs., 3 oz. (69%) His height was 21.5 inches (91%). Since his cord fell off when he was 6 days old, the doctor said it finally looked good enough that we could give him a real bath. Kind of crazy thinking back to Steven, whose cord didn’t fall off until he was 3 weeks old
