Fun a weekend!

Monday was a day on the town to see the Rowleys, and enjoy lunch at Tucanos. Darrell had never been, so it made it even more fun! The daffidils are the flowers Darrell got me for Valentines Day. I hadn't been able to post them yet:)

Happy Valentines day from us! :) As you can tell, Steven isn't interested in the camera if it's across the room with no one behind it.

Oh What a Life

Steven seems to know exactly what we read, when we're reading. During FHE Monday night, we tried to give him his own book. He tossed it aside and kept grabbing for the Ensign. It was pretty funny! Hanging out with the cousins! I love the remote!

Learning to Sit Up

Darrell has loved helping Steven get the strength to sit up by himself. The only thing that is stopping him, I believe, is his desire to put anything in his mouth that catches his eye. So, we put this container in front of him. He wanted to eat it, but we gave him his binki, then he just wanted to play.

Popcicle anyone?

Darrell pulled this piece of ice off our trailer the other day. It went from his teeth to his knee. It was pretty cool. Had a nice shattering effect when he threw it out in the snow as well.

Fun Weekend for us!

This weekend we went down to Santaquin for my nephew, Tyler's, baptism, and his little sister, Abby's, blessing. It was pretty fun. I was rather bummed that Steven seemed to hate practically everyone except darrell and I...but he did okay. This is Hannah. She's wearing Steven's winter hat..pretty cute though :) As you can tell from the background, my brother Brian likes to have his picture taken as well :) Steven with his cousin, Jackson. My adorble nieces, Karen and Ellie. These two have been the co-presidents of my fan club since my wedding, cause I wore a princess dress. Makenzie is a doll as well. She's just so cute and creative about life. I sure love her! Aunt Jenny and Steven :) Playing with Grandma Rowley and the rattle. My cheesy brother, Daniel, and his cute daughter, Hayley My grandma and grandpa farnsworth with abby. All the Rowley Grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa Farnsworth. Steven was NOT happy. :)

Husband Tagged

I've been "Husband Tagged" What is his name? Darrell How long have you been married? Almost 18 months How long did you date? We met in August...kinda started dating the beginning October..got engaged the end of May. I guess you could say 8 months. We were engaged for almost 3 months How old is he? 25 Who eats more? Darrell definitely does. :) Who said I love you first? He said it first. I squeezed it out of him. Who is smarter? That's a good question. I'm not sure. Whose temper is worse? Um..we're both pretty easy going. Who does the laundry? That would be me. Who does the dishes? That would be me. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? right side when you're standing in front of the bed? Darrell Who pays the bills? Definitely Darrell Who cooks dinner? The cutest wifey in the whole world of course :) Who drives when you are together? Usually Darrell. Unless he has a headache, or is tired. Then I will drive. Who is more stubborn? It depends on the situation Whose parents do you see the most? That's a good question. Since Steven was born, it's been pretty equal. Who proposed? Darrell Who has more friends? we both tease each other the that the other does...probably me. Who has more siblings? We both have 6 siblings..If you count in-laws...me. We have fun!

I just love spending time with Steven every day. We have good times. Lately, I like to play puppy, and he loves to eat the puppy...maybe he's giving the puppy loves. I think I'm creating a little cheeser..he likes the camera more each day! He loves to go for anything electronic. It catches his eye. He's definitely a true boy! This is his latest word. It's usually this or a combination with "wo wo wo wo" I'm still working on mama...but he is still young!

In Memory of an Amazing Prophet

After hearing on the news of President Hinckley's death this evening, I just started to cry. Such an amazing man. But so happy to know he is with his adorable wife again. I put in my Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD, "Peace Like a River" and it has been just so wonderful to know the gospel is a part of my life. I've been so blessed by it, and it has definitely played a role in how I have lived my life. I love how when I googled President Hinckley's picture, it also came up with a picture of Captain Moroni holding up the title of liberty. What a thought. President Hinckley has definitely helped to keep the Title Of Liberty flying high for our generation.

To be a four-month old!

Steven is just so cute.. I take pictures everyday. He has lots of cute new hats! He ALWAYS reaches for the camera, phone, and remote. He has a play phone that his cousin gave him for Christmas..no luck. He wants the REAL phone! Lately, he has loved to munch on our fingers. I think maybe he just might be getting teeth. Whenever they do decide to come in, this practice will stop immediately. Steven loves to sit up, but can't quite support himself. We've found that if we put our leg in front of him, he does a fairly decent job! And of course...we love mom, cause she's the one who is always here to play and read stories with! He loves the rattle. He's gotten to a point where he now rarely whacks himself in the face with it.

In honor of my lovely Spitty getting engaged, I was so happy, I wanted to post! :) Here is our little man all growing up! Steven just loves the toy grandma rowley gave him for Christmas. He jabbers to it all the time. My favorite thing is when he lifts his legs up, and kicks the toys, or sometimes grabs them with his feet. He's just so cute! I love that he has discovered his feet. It's the cutest thing to see him playing with them. Okay, so he's the cutest thing..but still :)

How Time Flies!

I can't believe our little man is four months old today. It doesn't not seem like it's been that long! To celebrate the big occasion, my little man didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning, instead of 5. This was a joy, and a sign that he is almost better from being sick. That was one thing I missed while he was sick; sleeping through the night. Good sleep is back, and so is my happy boy!

No fun!

So, the past few days, Steven and I have had nasty colds. The kind where you can't breathe, and you cough like a smoker. It's no fun. I'm doing pretty good, but Steven seems to still have a hard time breathing, and wakes himself up a lot cause he's coughing so hard. well, I took him to the doctor yesterday, to make sure he didn't have an ear infection...turns out my poor kid is also TEETHING! WHAT?! Who teeths at 4 months!? But then I learned that it also means they are teething when the teeth are starting to form in the gums, but not ready to break out yet. So, we may have a little bit more time till they actually come through.

Gotta love this kid!

Lately Steven has really been into the look at everything and not talk so much phase...obviously I don't mind, as this picture will testify of just how cute he always is! I had the camera, and would say, "Smile Steven!" to which he gave me this face every time. Sitting up is one of our favorite past times now too.. :) I love babies He also LOVES his rattles. It was definitely time for toys. I'm glad Christmas gave me an excuse to buy some!
