So, the 24th was really fun this year. Kate was home for the weekdend, and she, Kacey, and I joined in for some of the Monroe festivities. Even the Pelican was back to welcome us! Then, we went to the fireworks in the evening. Kate and I were so excited....I even dressed up...sort of..!
i was there for my sisters wedding it was great and then i was still there for the 24 it was great i love you all and which i could have seen every one
Yeah I told the girls we were celebrating my heritage. They were like "Why?" So I said, "Because I celebrate yours all the time. We can celebrate one holiday of mine." Bonnie said, "But I'm not Christian! I'm Jewishan!" It was hilarious. They were so proud of their butter, and they loved the ice cream. I love my heritage!
And Christie, I'll see you when I'm in town. I'm cooler than Kate!Even though I love her more than cows that moo.
Jewishan people used to make thier own cheese and butter too. Haven't they every watched Fiddler on the Roof?? They could have celebrated their heritage with you.

Happy Pioneer Day. There's no celebration here. So the girls and I made our own butter and pioneer ice cream to celebrate.
That's exciting! Did you tell them why you were celebrating?

We're sorry Christie...we didn't know....I am ashamed.
