We've been blessed to do a lot of traveling, and do many fun things this past year! In May we went to Disneyland with Janell's parents and sister, and the kids absolutely LOVED being able to go. We enjoyed seeing the Disney magic in the eyes of our children. At the end of May we went to Moab and Arches with the Rowleys, where Janell's parents opened their mission call to Columbus, Ohio. Then in June we were able to spend a week enjoying things here in Utah with the Croppers.

7 Months Old!
Oh how we all love this little tyke! I can’t believe my Jonny boy is already 7 months old. I tell you these last few months have FLOWN by!
At his 6 month appointment his stats were:
16 lbs 9 oz – 29th percentile
26.75 inches – 40th percentile
He finally figured out how to roll over 2 days before turning 6 months old and now rolls all over the place. I realized when he turned 6 months old that I hadn’t even started any solids yet, and he’s taken to them lovingly the past month. His favorites so far include waffles and squash. We sure love him and his soft, sweet giggles!
Moab/Arches
At the end of June, we went to Moab/Arches/Old LaSal with the Rowley Family. It was a great trip! Fun, sunshine, relaxation, family, and the highlight – my parents opened their mission call with all of us there! They have been called to serve in the Columbus, Ohio Mission. They will leave August 12, and we’re SO excited for them!
Disneyland! (Picture overload. haha)
It’s been almost two months now since we went to Disneyland, and I can’t believe how quickly that time flew by! Our kids were so excited, and the magic was felt by all. It was really so much fun, and I did cry tears of happiness a couple times to see just how much my kids loved it! The only thing I would change about it if we went again would be to stay longer! Hopefully we can make this happen again in 5 years.

Week 14: A Picture of Someone You Could Never Imagine Your Life Without
I can’t imagine my life without any of my kids, but I am going to spotlight Steven for now. When I graduated from high school I had this plan to go to college, go on a mission, graduate from college, get married and then have kids. Things turned out a little differently than I planned as Darrell proposed a year to the day of my high school graduation. Even after Darrell and I got married, our original plan was to start having kids after we both graduated with our Bachelor’s Degrees.. So when the Lord told us we needed to start trying to have kids only 3 months after we got married, it required a large leap of faith, more on my part than Darrell’s. So – instead of my original life plan of going on a mission at age 21, I become a mom at age 21. But I wouldn’t trade my life for anything now. This little boy paved the way for our growing family and his sweetness brightens each and every one of my days.
